Based on our in-class activities and individual and group cybersleuthing work this week (including library and web-based resources, print sources, video-viewing, and discussion) focused on The Troubles, conflict and politics in Northern Ireland, and background to the conflict (including key issues and events), and the CAIN Web Service, students will describe and analyze their beginning understanding of this complex topic. They'll provide a few excellent, personally relevant resources, and begin their inquiry.
They'll continue their cybersleuthing journeys to begin spinning out from this start to investigate/explore/connect with questions/inquires that personally resonate. They'll compile and organize, as they proceed, a categorized list of ideas, questions, sources and links. They'll be able to cull from this list, many ideas and sources for formative blog postings and summative VoiceThread work.
